Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Steady Read ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Steady Read is a speed reading application that displays text one word at a time to help users read faster. The app includes optional background music and supports various file formats for Pro subscribers.

Subscriptions

Steady Read offers a Pro subscription that unlocks additional features including file uploads (PDF, EPUB, DOC, DOCX, TXT, ZIP). Subscription details:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Steady Read only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app to process or distribute content that infringes on intellectual property rights

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Steady Read, including but not limited to the design, graphics, and music, are owned by Steady Read and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The music included in the app was created by the developer and is licensed exclusively for use within the app.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Steady Read is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steady Read shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
